Remind of a more instrumentally driven version of Fleet Foxes. Simple arrangement, but pleasant to listen to. Harmonies and folksy guitars are dominating the world of indie pop right now, in my opinion and Stornoway does both of these well. Stornoway are out of Oxford, UK. They have yet to release an LP or even an EP, but they have released a couple singles and music videos. Currently they are touring the UK area, but hopefully they will come to the U.S. if and when they are signed to a record deal.
Stornoway is a city in northeast Scotland. I am assuming that's what they named themselves after, but who knows. Their song, "Zorbing" is about a sport that is growing in popularity. This picture should say enough, but if you are still curious, Wikipedia has the answers.
This is the video for the song and you can also check out Stornoway's Myspace here.
